Sky TV
When you turn on the TV it will default to Freeview channels, however the hotel provides a full range of Sky HD channels, press the Sky button on the middle of the remote to gain access. If you wish to watch a movie and it requests a pin,enter 1234.
Air Conditioning
Thecontrol panel for the AC is located either next to the main door or above desk. The air conditioning will switch on at 21°C, temperature can be raised or lowered to suit your needs by adjusting the buttons up/down on the LCD screen.
Lighting
The master light switch needs to be on to operate all room lighting. Master switches are located at the main room door.
Underfloor Heating
You will find an ON/OFF switch or control for your underfloor heating outside your bathroom door. Underfloor heating and towel rails will switch off when bedroom key is removed.
Nespresso Machine
Ensure there is water in the container at the back of the machine and press the ON button. Choose between a small or large coffeeand place your cup under nozzle. Lift silver handle up and place the Nespresso capsule inside machine. Close the lever and enjoy a rich cup of Nespresso coffee.

Bedroom Lighting
A frequent question is regarding the blue and white lights in the bathroom. To turn these lights off there are two sets of three light switches either side of your bed.
Wardrobe & Bathroom
As we have tried to maximise the space in the bedrooms, the wardrobe in the room is enclosed behind the sliding wall in the bathroom. If you slide the wardrobe fully open and close the frosted toilet door, the bathroom becomes a private space. Hill Collection Junior Suitesand Hill Collection Suites have standard wardrobes.

Housekeeping
We will be servicing rooms during your stay only if requested.Once you have checked in no member of the hotel team will enter your room whilst you are occupying it.
Newspapers
In your arrival letter, you will find information about accessing our digital newspapers and magazines. These are complimentary and can be viewed on any device by connecting to our WiFi network and scanning the QR code provided.

We've partnered with local favourite Skin Lounge to offera whole host of treatments from facials and massages, to manicures and waxes, all in the comfort of our gorgeously refurbished treatment room inside the hotel.
We are delighted to have been awarded a silver grading standard, demonstrating our continuous commitment to sustainable environmental practises. Green Tourism is the largest sustainable certification programme of its kind and we are very proud to sit within the scheme.

- Providing responsible disposal options such as grey water in and around our buildings for use within plant borders, re-processing used vegetable oil and encouraging the use of bio-fuels
- Installing energy saving features during refurbishments, such as motion detectors, dimmers and low energy lighting wherever feasible
- Reducingthe impact of paper usage by increasing our use of online transmissions and electronic data collection
- Adoptingan environmentally sound transport strategy, encouraging the use of bikes, car share, shared taxis for staff andpublic transport for our guests

- We encourage the use of the our conveniently located hand sanitising stations throughout the hotel.
- We advise that the use of our lifts should be limited to those you are travelling with.
- You may notice that we have reduced some of the touchpoints in our rooms.
- Our cleaning schedules have been reviewed and enhancements made to our already incredible standards.Common touch points are sanitised every 15 minutes using achemical-free, sustainable sanitiser- including door handles and lift buttons.
If you do begin tofeel ill during yourstay, please follow the current NHS advice, let our team know immediately viaphoneand prepare to leave the hotel.

Check-out time is 11am unless otherwise arranged.
After this time, your key will no longer function. If you would like to spend some more time exploringRichmond, our receptionteam will behappy to store your luggage until you're ready to pick it up. Should you require a late check-out please contact reception who will advise on availability. Late check-out is charged at £20.00 per hour.
Car Parking
The hotel has ample car parking spaces available to our residents on a first come, first served basis. The daily charge is £10.00 for 24 hours. The hotel is unable to accept responsibility for any damage of theft from vehicles parked in our car park. Car parking concessions are often available to those who book with us direct, please see our website for current car parking offers.
Accessibility
Richmond Hill Hotel strives to offer the best possible service to disabled visitors at all times. Although the main part of the building dates back to 1726, we have tried wherever possible to be accommodating to special needs.Our accessible toilet is located in our restaurant, 144 On The Hill. We have lift access to most floors.For any further assistance required please contact reception.
Business service
Printing from word, excel andpowerpoint documents, photocopying and faxing are all available via reception between 7:00 22:00. Charges apply.
Dry cleaning andlaundry
A same day dry cleaning and/or laundry service is available from Monday-Saturday. Please complete the form located in your side draw and place it in bag provided. Hand your dry cleaning and/or laundry to reception before 9:00am. Your laundry will be delivered back to your room after 19:00 and charged to your room bill.
Emergency
Please familiarise yourself with fire instructions and directions to your nearest exit. Details can be found on the notice located on the back of your room door.
Cots
Travel cots are available from housekeeping, subject to availability. Charges apply.
