I've learned some of the worst practices from dishonest veterans of the logistics industryI'm talking 3 dudes with more than 60 years of combined industry experienceOne was in asset-management - he taught me to flat out lie to brokersOne was a broker - he taught me to deny detention that was due and talked about getting payback from high priced carriers by providing rock bottom freight pricesAnd one was in distribution - he taught me to get trusted brokers to personally pay for FTL claims or take away all of their business Looking back - it's no wonder I got so burnt out early in what could have been a really incredible career with well-rounded experience most logistics vets never get in 30 yearsLying, being dishonest, and acting without integrity can burn you out just as easily as the long hours this industry demandsI am SO THANKFUL for the incredible connections I have made on this platform in the past few monthsI am beyond grateful from what I have learned from the honest and smart logistics pros I've connected with both personally and through your contentYou show me everyday that there is a better way to navigate this industryA way that leads to less stress, better relationships, and yes, more moneyAnd all without having to sacrifice my integrityNow that I am back in this awesome and unique industry - I am committed to doing things differentI am committed to being honest, putting relationships ahead of monetary gain, and always doing what is right by doing the right thing each dayIf I have harmed you in the past with my bad practices - please let me know - I would like to make amends #freightbrokerage #trucking #distribution #supplychain
